Bergheim, November 28, 2025 – Around 130 customers and industry partners followed the invitation of WASEL Turmdrehkrane to this year’s customer event. Together with the LIEBHERR product manager and additional representatives of the manufacturer, the WASEL team provided in-depth insights into the latest developments in tower crane technology from LIEBHERR.

A special highlight already took place the day before the event: the handover of the new 43K fast-erecting crane, including innovative operator assistance systems, to customer Hupperich. On the event day itself, this model became the centerpiece of the live demonstrations.

Safer. Smarter. Better: assistance systems for fast-erecting cranes

The new operator assistance systems for fast-erecting cranes from LIEBHERR, which were presented at this year’s Bauma in Munich, set new benchmarks in the world of tower cranes. They independently perform semi-automated, simultaneous movements and significantly support the crane operator in daily work. The result is improved crane handling, increased safety and a new quality of working on construction sites.

Assistance systems impress the guests

In several demonstration rounds, WASEL experts presented the newly developed assistance systems for fast-erecting cranes, which were first introduced at Bauma 2025.

On site, the technology impressed with semi-automated, simultaneous movements that support crane operators and enable safe and efficient crane operation. Guests showed strong interest and took the opportunity to experience the systems up close and exchange directly with the specialists.

Additional products to experience firsthand

Further products, such as the Fibre soLITE® hoist rope, were also part of the exhibition. The combination of low weight and increased lifting capacity are key features of this hoist rope technology and attracted considerable interest among visitors.

In addition, the Liduro Power Port (LPO 100) proved to be a strong future-oriented solution for construction sites with limited grid access. The battery-based energy storage system demonstrated how peak loads can be balanced and grid connections reduced – in an economical, flexible and locally emission-free way.

Modern camera system solutions for tower crane jibs and their contribution to safe construction site operations were presented using the example of the BCS Cranecamera, introduced by a partner from the Netherlands.

Strong exchange and a relaxed supporting program

Alongside the technical highlights, personal exchange was a key element of the event. Numerous conversations between customers, LIEBHERR specialists and the WASEL team made the day a valuable platform for sharing practical experience, establishing new contacts and developing project ideas.

A popular catering service provided refreshments and offered the ideal energy boost for the intensive program.
